Share each person's amount

Send each person a private link showing how much they're owed. TipDivide does not make the payment.

Each link shows only that person's own hours, share and the pool total. Nobody sees anyone else's amount. The full breakdown above is for you only.

PROComing soon: saved shift history and tip-allocation records to help with your record-keeping.
TipDivide

Your share = pool total × your (hours × tip level) ÷ the team's combined (hours × tip level), rounded to the penny. This private view contains only your own figures and the total tip pool.

Privacy

TipDivide is designed to work without an account.

TipDivide may save these details locally in your browser on this device: names, roles, tip levels, IN/OUT status, list order (based on how often people are included), last-entered worked time, shift name, language choice and currency choice. They are not currently uploaded to a TipDivide server.

When you create a private staff link, the information needed to show that person's breakdown is contained within that link. Anyone who has that exact link may be able to view the information in it, so only share it with the intended person.

TipDivide may use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the app is used and improve it. This can include page visits, general device/browser information, approximate country and referral source. For TipDivide actions such as completing a split or sharing/copying results, we send only the selected language and currency. Names, hours, tip amounts and private link details are not sent. TipDivide does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

Clearing your browser/site data may remove your saved team.

Roles can use different tip levels.

Change a role's number once and it applies to everyone with that role. Custom only changes that person.

Your workplace decides whether anyone should have a different tip level. If everyone should be treated equally, leave every role at 1.0×.
